Karibu Kenya was created in 2004 with the vision to provide an outlet for Kenyan Fair Trade groups ready to compete in the US market.

After 3 years of showcasing unique Kenyan crafts and jewelry at various fairs and festivals around California, Karibu Kenya opened its first shop in San Francisco's Crocker Galleria. Karibu Kenya features such recognized brands as the acclaimed Kazuri jewelry and The Kikoy Company, both of which are champions of socially and environmentally responsible enterprises.
